Policybazaar has launched annual travel insurance for domestic travel in India.
The annual plan offers personal accident cover of up to $3,100 (INR3 lakh), hospitalisation coverage of up to $ 1,040 (INR1 lakh) during travel, compensation for loss of checked-in baggage, and support for trip cancellations arising from unexpected changes in travel plans.
The plan also extends to select home-related risks, including burglary when the policyholder is away, Policybazaar said.
The policy is available at a rate of $15.64 (INR1,500) per member.
